Joshua Uhlich
Joshua Uhlich currently serves as the Director of Procure to Pay and Chief Procurement Officer at San Diego State University. In this role, he spearheads the university's procurement, contracts management, and accounts payable operations. He also plays a pivotal role in guiding the university's contracting development endeavors and long-term organizational strategy.
Joshua is a distinguished alumnus, having earned his BA from the University of California, Irvine. He furthered his education with a Strategic Decision and Risk Management (SDRM) certification from Stanford University, and has completed his MBA along with a graduate certificate in Business Consulting at Pennsylvania State University.
Prior to his leadership at San Diego State University, Joshua served as Vice President of the Lakeview Association, the Director of Materials for Bisco Industries, and various other roles in Aerospace and Distribution.
Joshua is a respected figure in the field of procurement, lending his expertise as a guest author to esteemed publications such as Electronic Sourcing and Global Purchasing Magazine. He has also contributed valuable insights to the city of Anaheim through his writings.
Beyond his professional achievements, Joshua has a passion for endurance sports, sharing adventures with his wife and daughter during their travels, and deepening his knowledge of wine. He has also completed multiple marathons, ultra-marathons, and Ironman endurance races.
Lisa Garcia
Lisa holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Originally a Washingtonian, Lisa moved to Las Vegas at a young age, where she married her high school sweetheart and has three children. Lisa owned and managed her own disaster restoration company for 14 years. Lisa ventured into a new business to manage a real estate investment portfolio as a property manager. Her hobbies include hiking, exploration, and rollerblading with the kids. Lisa volunteers her free time to teach literacy and assist in teaching martial arts to children.

Aza has more than 24 years of experience in management consulting, quality management systems auditing, training, and teaching. She has extensive experience working with senior executives managing difficult situations utilizing solid knowledge of management techniques and organizational development practices. Aza is the co-founder and Vice President of American Society for Management (ASFM) working with world class organizations in the USA and around the world.
Aza’s most important job is being the mama bear of her four children.

Whenever his schedule permits, Dr. Almaoui enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students while teaching for universities in the USA and abroad. Dr. Almaoui has published empirical studies and articles in process performance management in international peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Almaoui believes his biggest achievement in life is his four children. He enjoys teaching his kids the values of being a decent human being.
