Humans2Humans abides by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which states in its first article: "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights, are endowed with reason and conscience, and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."

Humans2Humans was founded to help underprivileged people access education, acquire entrepreneurship skills, and earn sustainable living. The principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion are at the core of what Huamns2Humans does.

We believe diversity makes us stronger. We guide with compassion and welcome all views, making sure all voices are heard. Our mission is to help all those in need regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, or nationality because at the end of the day we are all humans and everyone deserves an opportunity to have a good and prosperous life.

b-     Code of Ethics and Conduct

Humans2Humans is committed to the Code of Ethics and Conduct guiding principles produced by the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations.

c-    Anti-bribery and privacy policy

Humans2Humans is committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner, and is committed to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure bribery is prevented.

Humans2Humans has zero-tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships, wherever in the country we operate.

Humans2Humans will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate. The organization is bound by the laws of the US FCPA and Foreign Givings and Sanctions, with regards to its conduct both at home and abroad.

Humans2Humans complies with IRS Revenue Rulings 63-252 and 66-79 with regard to the affairs and finances of the organization, specifically fiscal accountability and oversight of all contributed funds spent in the foreign country. Humans2Humans will ensure that all funds spent for the organization’s designated projects are spent for the specific purposes as decided and that all such supported projects will be in compliance with IRS revenue ruling requirements.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how Humans2Humans uses and protects any information that you give when you use this website or contact us for service delivery via email or social media.

Humans2Humans is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This policy sets out the basis on which the organization will process any personal data or usage information it collects from you, or that you provide, in connection with your use of this website (the “Website”). Please read this policy carefully so that you understand your rights in relation to your personal data, and how the organization will collect, use, and process your personal data. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy in general or any part of it, you should not access the Website.

Any changes to this privacy policy  will be posted here. You should check this policy frequently to ensure that you are satisfied with any changes.

What HUMANS2HUMANS collects

You provide information by contacting the organization or donating via this Website, email, phone, or joining the donors list, or by attending one of its events. Depending on how you provide your information, Humans2Humans will collect some or all of the following information when you contact us or attend one of our events. This may include:

§  Your name;

§  Email address;

§  Telephone number;

§  Contact details;

§  Brief summary of why you have contacted Humans2Humans.

What Humans2Humans does with the information it gathers

The purpose of the collection of information is as follows:

§  for security purposes (so that we can: verify the identity of the donor; keep transactions safe and secure);

§  for internal recordkeeping;

§  where you consent, to send you promotional emails about new projects, request feedback, or provide other information, which may be of interest to you using the email address which you have provided.

 Security

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet or email is not completely secure. Although Humans2Humans will do its best to protect your personal data, it cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted through the Website or over email; any transmission is at your own risk. Once your information has been received, the organization will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data against loss, theft and unauthorized use, access or modification.

 

The organization will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless it is required by law to do so.

Your rights

You have certain rights in relation to the personal data we hold. Some of these only apply in certain circumstances. These situations are described below, as well as how you can exercise your rights. To exercise any of your rights, please fill out the following form and submit it to this address info@humans2humans.org. You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

o Access: You have the right to know whether the organization processes personal data, and if it does, to access personal data it holds and certain information about how it uses them and with whom it shares them.

Security: The organization is not responsible for the security of the personal data or their processing once received by the third party.

o Correction: You have the right to require the organization to correct any personal data held that are inaccurate and have incomplete data completed.

o Erasure: You have the right to request that personal data the organization holds you are erased, after meeting IRS record keeping requirements, in the following circumstances:

 

o longer necessary to hold the personal data;

·         they are processed on the basis of your consent and you wish to withdraw your consent;

·         your data is processed on the basis of the organization’s legitimate interest and you object to such processing;

·         you no longer wish the organization to use your data to send you marketing;

·         you believe the organization is unlawfully processing your data.

Please provide as much detail as possible on your reasons for the request to assist Humans2Humans in determining whether you have a valid basis for erasure.

Withdrawal of Consent

Where you have provided your consent to the organization processing your personal data, you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@humans2humans.org.

Objection to Marketing

At any time, you have the right to object to processing of personal data in order to contact you about Humans2Humans news and events and the organization will stop processing the data for that purpose.

Complaints

In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how the organization processes your personal data, please contact info@humans2humans.org  to deal with your request.

d-      Donor Bill of Rights

According to the Association of Fundraising Professionals, philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, Humans2Humans declares that all donors have these rights:

                                I.            To be informed of the organization's mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.

                              II.            To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization's governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.

                            III.            To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.

                            IV.            To receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition.

                              V.            To be assured that information about their donation is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.

                            VI.            To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional in nature.

                          VII.            To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization, or hired solicitors.

                        VIII.            To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share.

                            IX.            To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful, and forthright answers.
